Our Philosophy

Our Beliefs

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.  These three are coequal and coeternal.

The Holy Bible alone is the authoritative Word of God.  It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths.  In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible and inerrant (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21).

Jesus Christ is God the Son, second person of the trinity.  On Earth, Jesus was fully God, and yet fully man.  He is the only One that has ever lived in a sinless life and died upon the cross to atone for our sins.  He rose from the dead on the third day, ascended to the right hand of the Father and will return again in power and glory (John 1:1,14; Colossians 1:15-23,2:9; Philippians 2:5-11).

Christians are people who have turned from idols to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  They have invited the Lord Jesus Christ to live inside them by His Holy Spirit.  Followers of Jesus relinquish the authority of their lives over to Him making Jesus the Lord of their life.

Followers of Jesus place their trust in what Jesus accomplished for them when he died, was buried, and rose again from the dead.

Our Expression

Life Connexion seeks to be a life-giving faith community living out the life of Jesus Christ in the Pembina Hills Region and beyond as a contemporary spirit-filled community seeking to radically follow Jesus in order that “His Kingdom come and His will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven”.

Our Function

Jesus Christ equips and releases His followers through a present day five-fold ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers (Ephesians 4:11-16).

The Holy Spirit manifests His life in and through followers of Jesus through the present day exercise of the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12).

The Holy Spirit evidences His life in followers of Jesus in the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Romans 8:29; 1 Corinthians 13:1-8; Matthew 5-7).
